Degree to be Earned |
Students who take at least 21 credits (equivalent to 60 ECTS) from the courses available in the graduate programs of the department or other related departments and successfully complete all of them, obtain a weighted grade point average of at least 2.5 out of 4.00, and successfully defend a thesis prepared in a field related to the subject and successfully defended by a selected jury are awarded a master's degree in Environmental Science and Technology. |

1 - Bachelor's degree from acceptable fields, 2 - Having the required score from the graduate entrance exam (ALES). |

History |
With the meeting of the Executive Board of Higher Education dated 09/12/2020 and the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education dated 25/12/2014, in accordance with Articles 4, 5/d and 7 of the Regulation on the Organization and Functioning of Graduate Education Institutes, a Master's Program with Thesis in Environmental Science and Technologies was opened to provide interdisciplinary education within our Graduate Education Institute. Since the fall semester of 2021-2022, master's level education has been provided in our master's program. |

They can find the opportunity to work on environmental science and technologies in public and private business areas. On the other hand, graduates who want to continue their academic career can apply to doctoral programs. |

Exams, Assessment and Evaluation |
Students are subjected to midterm, seminar and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. |
